  • This little family owned restaurant has a great feel to it. Very polite and knowledgeable staff handle food with care and serve good local wine. The fish is extremely fresh and usually caught same day in the early hours of the morning. Our swordfish and sea bass were delicious. Prepare for local flavor, simple but tasty food with no unnecessary ingredients (olive oil , salt, garlic! ) I did not love their home made bread , but that could be personal preference ! Would visit again

  • Amazing food good prices and a fabulous attention to detail and service. Everything was fresh and extremely well cooked. Definitely recommend it. But try and go early or book a table for later. Well worth it. 👍🏼

  • First, we were so impressed with our sever. He was the most professional server we have had in a long time. He seemed to genuinely love his job and wanted to excel. His knowledge Croatian wines and and local fish was surprising. He constantly catered to us. The food was good, however the fresh fish number 1 was simply amazing, a bit expensive, but so very nicely cooked. It was a wonderful experience. The only surprise for us was that the fish did not come with vegetables or a side. Maybe most are used to this, we weren’t. Overall a great experience and way better than food on the waterfront.

  • We just learned that Konoba stands for local owned restaurants that's why we decided to try Matejuska. The food was absolutely delicious! With large selection of seafood and local tasty wine. Nikolai provided the lovely service and nice advice. Thank you!

  • Fresh ingredients. Good service. But it’s expensive for nothing in your dish...
