Visited Krk in May, before their holiday season starts. Already warm and locals getting ready for the tourist onslaught. The town of Krk is small, compact and clean. Great seafront restaurants. A few well stocked bakery's. The sea around Krk is crystal clear and swimming is a must, even in May 👍 Recommend hiring a car, try six-t for low prices and a car allows you explore all the wonderful hill top towns around the island and neighbouring islands.
Beautiful island, clean sea, a lot of different types of beaches, crowded beaches, doggie beaches, remote ones.. you can enjoy yourself even if the weather isn't the best for swimming or sunbathing. Cycling, hiking, exploring caves or visiting historical monuments. Amazing.
The biggest island in Croatia but connected to the mainland via bridge so you don't have that problem of being cut off from the civilization like you have on the other islands. Of you are in Croatia, this is a place to go. Low prices, beautiful beaches, very friendly people and great accomodation.
beautiful peaceful place..will try and return
Wonderful island. I highly recommend it to anyone.
