  • Well worth the beautiful drive. Then well worth the nice walk through the trail. And then you are presented with one of Australia's best views. You are viewing an extinct Volcano crater & the point in Australia that receives the sun first each day. Look left to the coast and you can see all the way down from the border to deep into New South Wales. Put this on your must do list!

  • What an amazing place. There is a steady path all the way through the forest, to the lookout. The scenery along the short walk is absolutely beautiful. The walk from the carpark to lookout is 350m. Make sure you pick a clear day to go here, otherwise you might miss the spectacular view from the lookout itself.

  • Been bringing visitors up here for many years, on a clear day the WOW factor is amazing for the great view. On a rainy day it is wonderful to walk through the misty rainforest to then look over a valley of white cloud. Brilliant location to understand the geography of the central east coast of Australia and it's powerful creation.

  • I was wondering why the "Best of All" appears in the name until I saw it I now understand. The view is absolutely stunning with mountains nearby, coast line afar, border of NSW/QLD at the foot of the cliff. A short walk to a quiet view platform, but be aware the little car park could get very crowded.

  • An extremely long and steep drive, but worth it once we got to the top. What a view! It's a short bush walk from the carpark, which was quite enjoyable in its own right. The drive itself was also really stunning, with a couple of other lookouts on the way. This one really is the "Best of All", though.
