  • give yourself three hours if you want to do the full circuit loop and the walk to the water pools. the signage is confusing so basically when you get to choose whether to go left or right go left as it's easier. if you want to swim in the water pools is a 2km walk return. it's an moderately easy walk but would recommend shoes rather than sandals.

  • This is a great place to visit, easy to park, either walk the complete loop track, or just to the lookout. We walked the loop track with two young children and it was perfect. Very nice at the bottom of the waterfall.

  • A stunning location. The view is breathtaking. Especially after it rains a lot and the waterfall is flowing heavily!

  • Great round circuit walk. The new bbq area just about complete. Once finished it will be a great place for a picnic

  • Amazing place, great hike down through the valley and out at Apple Tree. I parked car and ran back to purling brook falls and did the hike with wife and three kids 1-10years. Defiantly worth t about 3hrs all up
