Betab Valley - Review
This valley was named after a Bollywood movie though many other Bollywood movies have been filmed here. It’s one of those spots they call the Switzerland of India. You’ll have to get to Pahalgam from Srinagar first to get here. From there, the road will course upstream along an aquamarine river, past military checkpoints and tourist-trap resorts and restaurants. Those distractions will be left behind as you approach the valley, a place of alpine meadows, icy streams, green mountains, clear blue skies, and deodar and pine forests. It’s one of the most beautiful valleys in the country, perfect for picnickers and even campers.

Betab Valley, Srinagar Reviews
Very nice place for family and kids... Beautiful views and weather... Environment is very nice... Beautiful nature...must visit this place... It's tourism spot near pahalgam...you feel relaxed to see their natural things...so many activities you can do there... Best place for photos.
It's a beautiful, picturesque & pleasant valley in Kashmir near Pahalgam. Too many artificial structures may spoil the natural beauty. It' was originally known as Liddar valley but became famous as Betaab valley after the shooting of film "Betaab". The climate is best for tourists during February to June. But the winters are also very cool and charismatic. Worth visit for a wonderful experience of lifetime.
Spectacular place in the lap of nature. The shooting of the film 'BETAAB' was done here and hence the name. Many other film shootings were also done. There' a beautiful bridge up there. The Sparkling river, green valleys. snow capped mountains makes this place unbelievable. If you are willing to come here then you must visit this place or else you will definitely miss something.
It is a very beautiful place... To me it was a perfect blend of nature and adventure brought together where one could enjoy with friends and family.. I would love to visit again..
My first experience of kashmir was fantastic. Betaab valley and Aru valley are worth to visit. I went in evening and when i reached it was sunny but after some 1/2 n hour it was very cloudy. And till the time we came outside we were already wet.. you cant judge weather there. It changes within minutes. Great place to visit.
