The lovely archway is the main entrance to the road leading up to Hari Parbat or Mughal Fort. Though its condition looks somewhat deteriorated there is still a sense of majesty to it. Persian inscriptions adorn the walls of the gate. The two other entrances to the fort are called Sangeen Darwaza and Bachi Darwaza. The gate is one of the last surviving parts of the old city wall.
