Most of the excitement is due to mundane reasons such as a breeze, a creaky floor board, but then some of the time it is not. They are the only tour that takes you into two haunted buildings. Some of the favourite haunts are Tolomota Cemetery which is the oldest cemetery in St. Augustine with over 1000 burials. Another haunt is the fort The Castillio de San Marcos. It was built to defend St. Augustine from pirates and the British who attacked the fort twice but never took it. Many died on the green lawn during the ancient times and to this day the spirits still combat over the Castillio. The City Gates where the only way into St. Augustine as it was a walled city. Numerous died on the wall during battles and today you can see a little girl, and a man with a horse and carriage. The Hueguenot Cemetery was founded for victims of the yellow fever.
