A typical tourist art gallery? Not the High Tide Art Gallery. Entering the gallery has you standing in an exceptional world where sunlight dances and reflects through ocean inspired art glass, an explosion of colours from so many wonderful hand crafted art and paintings waiting to mesmerize you. Here they create art that you will love. Whether it's an opulently hued oil painting that greets you daily or astounding your friend with beautiful sea glass charms, they can transform your life in a spectacular way.

Every part of this gallery is worth exploring, some to hold and some to behold. Affordable art by local artists is on display for sale. Lots of gorgeous glasswork, prints, shell work, jewellery, photographs, prints and paintings for everyone’s taste. The High Tide Gallery LLC, is an art gallery for locals only. It is in historic St. Augustine, Florida, the nation's Oldest City.  The talents of 40 artists are on exhibition and they have satisfied customers who return to them every year from around the world. People love their dreamy mermaid inspired authentic handmade jewellery, original paintings of the area's beaches, marshes and quaint Victorian cottages, one-of-a-kind glassware, and pottery. The owner Aimee K. Wiles Banion is an artist and a photojournalist who enjoys a laid back life surrounded by palm trees and blue skies. St. Augustine is her inspiration with its horse drawn carriages, historic places and the bays and beaches. She has a resident Chihuahua to greet her happy and smiling customers, who in turn visit just to pet her friendly and loving dog.

Her 45 artists are all dedicated to creating wonderful pieces of art so there is something for everyone. Paintings of the beaches, marches, and quaint Victorian cottages regal the gallery and the sea turtle pottery, seaside home décor are incredibly cute. They consign longboards and short boards from Hawaii, California and Florida. Some of the boards are vintage and in excellent condition, a must buy for surfers. Fluorescent colour surfboards which were used for a photo shoot down in Cocoa Beach are attractively displayed from the ceiling for sale!

High Tide Art Gallery Reviews & Ratings

  • Always coastal and marine art in a changing mix of artists and mediums. I love stopping in to see what is new.

  • Wonderful shop...goodlocal artist.

  • This is one of the best galleries I have ever been to! I found art I loved in every room of the store! I was inside for over an hour and still hadn't seen everything they have! The prices are amazing too and so I was able to get several wonderful and unique art pieces from local artists for both myself and gifts for my friends and boyfriend! Also the owner is fabulous! She was so nice to us while we were there shopping and shared tidbits about the artists who made the work! If you come to visit St. Augustine you have to stop in High Tide! They have the best art around!
