St. John’s is the capital of Newfoundland Labrador, Canada. For more than 500 years, St. John’s has been visited by European explorers, adventurers, soldiers and pirates. The small habitat was discovered by John Cabot in the year 1497. It later became the first permanent settlement in North America for the British Empire.
