Engadine - Review

Situated in the southeast Switzerland, the Engadin Valley extends from the Maloja Pass to the Martina, along the border of Austria. This valley boasts an adorable bounty of nature and is a popular tourist destination. Divided into sections- the upper and the lower Engadin, this valley exhibits different scenery than the other valleys in the Swiss Alps and is known for its winter sports and adventure activities. Clear skies, deep blue lakes and continental mountain climate add to the allure of Engadin. Saint Moritz is the most popular resort town which is used as a base to explore the entire valley.

Attractions in Upper Engadin: Sils, Silvaplana, St. Moritz, Celerina, Pontresina, Samedan, Bever, La Punt Chamues-ch, Madulain, Zuoz and S-chanf.

Attractions in Lower Engadin: A valley with villages exhibiting Romansh culture, thick-walled houses, decorated cottages and quaint cobbled squares, Carolimgian church and FRESCOS.

Activities: Hiking, biking, Rafting, skiing, Curling, sailing, polo, golf, ice skating, snow-boarding.
