Paklenica National Park , Zadar Reviews

  • Beautiful park for hikers and rock climbers. We did the trail to the Paklenica house there and back in November. It took us about 5-6 house, and we took our time. It is easy to get there from Zadar, but in the off-season there is only one bus that leaves in the morning. This place would be perfect to start outdoor rock climbing as it has many entry level climbs.

  • Great place for rock climbing and hiking. Members of the Croatian and Slovenian mountaineering association get a 50% discount, along with students and kids. The rock is very good and routes and multi pitch routes are reasonably well protected. It can be crowded in spring and autumn during the holidays and weekends, so an early start is crucial.

  • Paradise on earth. So pretty. Sea at the bottom. Park at the top. Local people are very friendly

  • Absolutely amazing park. We walked to the top of Anica kuk, the views were amazing, and it was a really good hike (steep towards the end though). Would have loved to have walked more of it. The climbing routes looked amazing too.

  • Nice place to visit. Allow a day, if You want to see many places there. Signs are a bit tricky, so ask where You are from other tourists or workers ( they might know better...). If go there with kids take the easy trail routes, bit dangerous several places. Really worth a visit.
