Stavanger Kunstmuseum - Review
As an art lover, you will enjoy each and every bit of your time visiting the Stavanger Art Museum. This art gallery is pretty old and started its journey in the year 1865. The gallery has exhibited masterpieces created by 19th-century artists like Knut Baade, Kitty Kielland, Carl Sundt-Hansen, Olaf Lange and many other eminent artists of that era. Till now, the gallery has given way to 2600 splendid art works. Not only tourists and art lovers but students for educational purposes also come to this place. The art gallery has its cafeteria where you can get cakes, soups, and coffee at reasonable rates. The gallery has its own auditorium and dome also and gives space for rent to organise weddings and private parties.

Stavanger Kunstmuseum, Stavanger Reviews
I was the only one in the gallery today, probably because it was raining, but the gallery was very quiet and simple. I got half price on my ticket since unfortunately half of the museum was closed, but I enjoyed what I got to see! They also have a cafe inside with very reasonably priced food. If you like art, or just something to do on a rainy day, I would recommend coming here! It also has a great view of the lake from the cafe.
This place is amazing! The location of this museum makes it even more special as it is located right next to mosvanet lake. Also the museum embodies the beauty of space and nature which makes the place even more special! I personally loved the ‘love story’ and other curated art works during my visit. The place is not too crowded and really special! Highest recommendations of all.
The expositions change regularly, and there's never many people. Really recommend this place!
Very few paintings, doesn't worth the entrance fee.
Great museum at a very pleasant place. I've seen the Kitty Kielland open air exhibition. Wonderful plein air paintings from the feminist Kielland and her contemporaries. The museum has a very nice cafe and it's located by the lake Mostvatnet. Beautiful experience in and out.
