Lake Solano County Park Reviews & Ratings
Love this little park! It's a great place to stop while on a bike ride for a little rest, refresh your water, and use the facilities. Restrooms are usually reasonably clean, although it seems that not all guests are always polite. Park staff I have encountered there over the years have been friendly.
We rented the park space A. It's decent enough to be able to host 100 people. Wish the grass was more filled out but its still nice. The rangers are sticklers for rules but, that's them making sure our tax dollars spent properly by doing their jobs. Can't say anything bad about that. Beautiful park.
Great place to kayak. The lake is quite and calm, the scenery is very nice and filled with lots of wildlife. The public restrooms are clean. Nice for a picnic following your water activities. They have a very reasonable day fee too.
Across the road from lake Solano is a campground for vehicles. The lake also has a large capacity for groups parties. Nice and quiet lot of birds, peaceful no sounds of any cars.
I grew up going to Lake Solano. I have fond memories of this place. It's a great place to take the whole family camping, or to the day use park. The first time I went camping as an adult was here too. It's far enough away from town, but not crazy far if you forgot something essential. They have a remodeled natural center and it's cool to check out and maybe learn something new.
