Like other cities of Scotland, Stirling has a cool, damp and cloudy climate although it has less snowfall due to the influence of the Gulf Stream.

Summers are very pleasant (temperature around19 to 200C) and isthe ideal time to visit the city althoughit is fairly crowded with visitors. Autumn and spring are convenient visiting periodsto avoid the crowds and still enjoy the city. Winters are severe.
