There are many incredible highlights at the museum (and it IS a museum) but the winner is… the design! The exhibits are to be followed along a clever and engagingly laid out path. Begin inside with humid and warm South American rain forest, looking exotically beautiful with piranha filled rivers and trees home to poison dart frogs; walk through a glass tunnel submerged in a tropical water tank filled with sharks, moray eels, curious fish, and coral reefs; and walk a similar path through Nordic waters filled with trout. Finish off with a bite to eat at the Aquarias Cafe over views of Stockholm’s lakes and islands.

  • We were told it's a small one, so we just planned to spend one hour there - totally not enough! It is really nicely designed and arranged. The rain forest at the entrance together with the shark aquarium is fantastic! We spend a lot time to watch the jellyfishes and four-eyed fish as well. And it will take you some time if you want to find all the frogs - they are talent in hiding themselves. One star off because of the price, but a year ticket could be worthy!

  • This is the place where you feel young againg. Everything is so fascinating, you lose the track of time. The aquarium with sharks, stingrays and all the other creatures is so mesmerizing, you can spend hpurs watching them. I truly recommend coming here, it is amazing

  • Small but fun place for little ones. Great little cafe in the back with lovely views. Been here at least once a month and never get bored. Timing is everything though, avoid going in when large groups arrive.

  • Small but really awesome exhibits with a little jungle you can walk through and some jumping fish.

  • It a smaller aquarium but well maintained. A sea-facing restaurant within the premises makes for a relaxing lunch with superb view
