When you decide to visit this Swedish capital, make sure that you do so between July and August. This is when it is sunny and warm.
June-August: Average temperatures are around 18-degrees Celsius in June and 21-degrees Celsius in July. August is Stockholm’s wettest month, but precipitation during this month is moderate. During the month of June is the best time to visit Stockholm, and this is also when you will be able to experience outdoor events, warm weather, activities, and very long days. This is called Midnight Sun.
September-November: This is the period during which the temperature is warmest in Stockholm. Also this is considered to be an off season and the travel fares are comparatively cheaper. Truly, a double whammy for budget travellers.
December-February: It freezes in Stockholm during this period and hence it should be visited by the bravest of all traveller. Also, make sure you carry a good amount of warm clothes for covering yourself.
March to May: It’s the start of Spring in stockholm but the weather is slightly on the chilly side. This is not an ideal season to visit Stockholm. Instead, wait for couple of months and visit in summer season.
