Stockholm’s most popular hangout was once a vegetable garden patronized by the royals. A much vaunted sight here is Molin’s Fountain, decorated with figures and scenes from Nordic mythology. The park really comes alive in winter, when it’s a favorite spot for ice skating. The lights and the snow and the crowd in the evenings almost makes the place seem festive. The lazy ones in your party can warm their toes in one of the number of cafes and restaurants around here.

Occaionally there will be concerts and social events. Do feel free to hit one of the many kiosks around for some hot dogs, or burgers, some perfect comfort food. Spring is another favorite time to visit, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

  • Great service, pretty hotel, short walking distance from everything, clean rooms and gym. They also offer a very good breakfast that's included with your stay!

  • Nice hotel. Rooms a bit small but the location is great. The breakfast is also nice

  • This is the second time I chose this hotel. Hotel Garden is located quite near central station and offer good breakfast. However there are some weak points drag down the total standard. 1. first time booking, the room was so cold and I have to borrow a heater from reception; 2 2nd time booking, I wrongly chose the date in next year and realized it when I checked in. It was my mistake and have to pay 3 times more on site to get another room. The assigned room smells so bad. I thought someone didn't flush away the toilet. But in fact it would cause by the old drainage system. Luckily I got a room to replace and thanks to the reception guy. Afterwards I tried to cancel the wrong booking. Some high ranked hotels do consider the situation and offer a flexible policy on the non-refundable booking. However I got a decisive reply by NO. Feel disappointed and I think I will never book this hotel again...

  • The location is perfect. It's in the middle of everything. Our room, however, is tiny. We never complain about small rooms because we're not in Stockholm to see the room. We're here to see the city. The problem is that the room is so small we barely have room to open our suitcase. The bathroom is very modern and nice. If the room was just a little larger I would give it 5 stars. It's so small it barely fits the bed.

  • The best location in Stockholm city and a very beautiful hotel. The rooms were tiny but lovely. I would have hoped for a more caring and accommodating reception staff, but overall it was a 5 star experience.
