King's Garden - Review

Stockholm’s most popular hangout was once a vegetable garden patronized by the royals. A much vaunted sight here is Molin’s Fountain, decorated with figures and scenes from Nordic mythology. The park really comes alive in winter, when it’s a favorite spot for ice skating. The lights and the snow and the crowd in the evenings almost makes the place seem festive. The lazy ones in your party can warm their toes in one of the number of cafes and restaurants around here.

Occaionally there will be concerts and social events. Do feel free to hit one of the many kiosks around for some hot dogs, or burgers, some perfect comfort food. Spring is another favorite time to visit, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

King's Garden, Stockholm Reviews

  • The location is perfect. It's in the middle of everything. Our room, however, is tiny. We never complain about small rooms because we're not in Stockholm to see the room. We're here to see the city. The problem is that the room is so small we barely have room to open our suitcase. The bathroom is very modern and nice. If the room was just a little larger I would give it 5 stars. It's so small it barely fits the bed.

  • Excellent location right off the park. 5 minute walk to transportation and shopping. Small but nicely done rooms with a fantastic shower. Very good breakfast and a super friendly staff. Tip: The back door takes you straight to Kungsträdgården Park

  • The best location in Stockholm city and a very beautiful hotel. The rooms were tiny but lovely. I would have hoped for a more caring and accommodating reception staff, but overall it was a 5 star experience.

  • We hot here a smaller room, but the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast and the service was great. Our room was a bit noisy, because it was located near to cleaning staff storage

  • What a beautiful hotel, main language seems to be English and the theme is french, what a mix! Amenities are great and I would stay again.
