Rosendals Tradgard - Review

Not many public gardens are famous for biodynamic agriculture, a form of organic farming popularised by Rudolf Steiner in the early 20th century. Find out what it is about over here where fruits, vegetables and flowers are cultivated. It’s a charming collection of greenhouses, rose beds, a vineyard, an orchard and vegetable fields. That’s not all. Remember to check out the terrific greenhouse cafe (which uses it’s produce), the artisanal bakery (it smells really good), the plant shop (tools and seeds to set up your own garden), and the farm shop. You can picnic on the grass. Check the website for events, or activities for children. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Stockholm Itinerary 2 Days.

Rosendals Tradgard, Stockholm Reviews

  • the way to go this cafe along the river is very beautiful. however i recommend not to go this place in the middle of summer. otherwise, you will be sweating and melting under the sun and can't even feel the taste of nice foods. and also this place is kind of crowded so if you are looking for a very calm and quite place, this is not the perfect place. the garden is very beautiful and all the foods are still good. (if you can feel the taste)

  • An amazing place on an island in the centre of Stockholm. The cafe serves lunch and Fika all with lots of fresh produce from the gardens around. In summer, you can sit outside with lunch in the shaded gardens, such a nice atmosphere. In the big greenhouses you can buy lots of plants and they also have a small shop selling small produce from the farm and other Swedish independent producers. On a hot summers day, there's no better place in the city.

  • This is a great place to bring family and friends for walk. Wild area. Green land. I enjoyed the place, recommend to people. There is a river beside this park, great view and feel. There are people, around the park.

  • Very cozy and nice place! Can be overcrowded during the weekend They make perfects cake and dessert, and good food (also vegetarian and vegan options). There is a garden where you can sit and enjoy your meal and you can have a look at the flowers.

  • Nice space for some outdoor hanging. Not much happening but if you just want a chillaxing place to be this is decent. Was here for a corporate event and as the weather was good it was pretty decent. Don't wear heels as the ground is gravel and pebbles. Also there is one area that is under roof, but don't think this place would be so nice if the weather wasn't warm and nice. Food was interesting (corporate event) and quite fun. No gourmet food but good event food.
