Stockton is located near the San Joaquin River and San Joaquin valley, thus, making it an ideal place for people to come and stay. Therefore, the city is also densely populated. This city was founded in 1849 by Carlos Maria Weber. Stockton experiences an arid and hot summer, while the winters are pretty cold. The temperature fluctuations around the Bay area are somewhat less.
