Butterfly World Reviews & Ratings
Brilliant day out for the Family we absolutely Loved it the Butterflies we're landing on my sons head he was amazed by it. Friendly staff Lovely little cafe close by. Also a big play area outside. Little souvenir shop inside reasonably priced. Cost £15 for a family of 4 And we could come and go all day up until 4.30
It's a really good day out. Although butterfly world is small it is very interesting and there's also a reptile section to visit. You get a stamp and then you can come and go as you please. Staff were friendly and helpful. it is situated inside of Preston park which is a very good park and well worth a visit. Toilets with baby changing facilities available.
Fantastic experience seeing tropical butterflies and flora. Add in the meerkats and it's a delight for children and all types of budding photographers. Just be aware they will land on you so take care with youngsters. There's usually someone on hand to give you background info on the species if needed. I would day butterfly world and the nearby Preston Park museum and grounds constitutes one of the best value for money days out in the Teesside region.
Plenty of things to see in such a small place. So many butterflies from around the world. Non flying birds hop around the undergrowth, large Carp in ponds, Reptile house, small Monkeys and Meerkats as well. Entrance fee isn't too bad.
Great family day out! Dress lightly because it is very humid and warm for the butterflies. Lovely staff.
