At times looking at century-old things gives a unique feeling which becomes difficult to be penned. When you visit this 18th-century watermill you are bound to feel the same. It is a completely operational watermill set in Shropshire countryside in the deep wooded valley. You will see wheat being turned into flour and the steam train from the Severn Valley Railway crossing the viaduct. It is a very interesting place which can truly be called a gem beautifully restored. It is a picturesque spot with an interesting history. Walk around the peaceful pools and on your way back don’t forget to grab a packet of wholemeal flour from the shop. Enjoy the short trip.

Daniels Mill Reviews & Ratings
Did the tour and enjoyed it very much. Just a short distance from the town with parking available. Expect to spend a couple of hours and enjoy the lovely location and history. The Coffee shop is also a nice one. Overall great value.
It's been done up since I last went, looks really beautiful. The owner Rosalie is so friendly and the cakes and food were amazing.
Very interesting talk and tour. Tea room cakes all home made and delicious, especially the rhubarb cake. Friendly and efficient and good value for money.
Mill was great and the new coffee shop well worth a visit. The vegan fruit cake was amazing. I am hooked. Well for the visit lol
Very interesting talk and tour of the mill. Newly refurbished and opened cafe with a very friendly owner. Severn Valley train passes right over the mill grounds, lovely place to visit :-)
