Though it’s more loved today for the Christmas Market that enchants in wintertime, the place Gutenberg owes its name to the famous inventor of the printing press. It’s a large and picturesque square, and though it doesn’t really have muck to offer (apart from the Statue of Gutenberg and the nearby Chamber of Commerce), it’s a good starting point for your tour of Strasbourg. Check out the souvenir shops and the few restaurants that line its edges. It’s good people watching.
