  • Do yourself a favour avoid the Zoo of Strasbourg and it’s Xmas Markets. Too many people, no restaurant availability, rips offs abound. Having said this if you’re desperate then make a day trip of it, get in see the lights and decoration and the cathedral lit at night and then get out WAY out like catch the train back to Paris you’ll keep your sanity.

  • Wow, mind blowing decorations, beautiful beyond belief, just be prepared to be jostled by thousands of other visitors as we were on a Saturday night. Very very crowded, but so beautiful. Chalets selling goods and food look great, but at the market at the acathedral, impossible to get to because of lines. We’ll try again Sunday morning. 😀

  • We go to Europe every December because of the Christmas markets. Love this City and all its goodies. The markets are not as crowded in the weekdays. We like the pretzels, hot wine, chocolates, choucroute, sausages and many more. Check out my photos and also check out ig @wandering_bears. Strasbourg is the first City in Europe to introduce the Christmas Market. It is a must visit if ever you’re in this part of town. It was a beautiful experience. Thanks Alsace!!!

  • An absolute zoo. The Cathedral setting is pretty. Go on a weekday. Better markets in Strasbourg.

  • Crowded but otherwise very nice. You can find everything from local food to pottery there.
