  • The food was fantastic and is the only reason this is getting a 2 star, however, this was some of the worst service I have received in a long time. We were only offered drinks once (when we arrived), we had not been asked how our meals were, our dinner dishes were still at our table despite us being finished at least 20 minutes before we had ordered dessert. Once dessert had arrived, our table was still not cleared and the waitress said "if someone would grab a plate I could swap with you".. when leaving we didn't get the "thanks guys" or "see you next time" we simply paid the bill and left. It was not busy, empty tables were being cleared before customers (not just ours) even though they'd said that they'd be back to clear it. At $320 (more if we'd been offered drinks) I would have expected much better service.

  • Arrived at 6.30 last night for hubby's birthday. Long wait for food and then we were suddenly asked to leave just before 8 as they were closing. We hadn't finished our food or drinks!!! Food and drinks were good but this was not a happy birthday celebration. Won't be going back and can't recommend this restaurant to others - unless you are really desperate for Mexican food!

  • We came on the weekend when there was a steady flow of customers. Funky atmosphere, service was quick for two and the portion sizes of the meals was extremely generous. We had the nachos and fajitas. We were able to get a doggy bag for our leftovers.

  • Literally no service, very slow. Staff were more interested in eating and chatting behind the bar rather than take our order. Not splitting the bill is a joke with today's technology. Getting kicked out before 10pm on a Friday night ended a pretty poor experience.

  • The service was really bad, we originally had a table for 10 and 6 showed up - 8 minutes after our booking time a waitress asked if we were waiting on anyone and stated “we had to turn down 2 other tables to cater for you”. We had to get the attention of the waiters when we wanted to order anything because they neglected to give us service. The food was over priced for the quality and to top it all off - the restaurant ripped us off $20, the bill came to $278.80 and after counting our combined contributions from the 6 people we gave them $300 cash. They gave us $1.20 change and when we said something they said we could recount it - but this was already after they had taken it behind the counter and clearly stashed the extra $20. Corrupt business, poor customer service and the type of food I could get at zambreros for half the price. The only positive thing was the company of my friends and the presentation of the food.
