Built in 1928, The Wayside Grist Mill is a water-powered stone mill which produces wheat flour and cornmeal. Bubbling streams and scenic trails make this place a popular picnicking spot. This working mill also offers tours and sell their products. The place is open for visitors from April through November every year and the grinding demonstrations on the weekends attract a huge number of visitors. The trained interpreter and the Grist Mill sale is of utmost interest for visitors.
