A visit to the Nifrel aquarium will give you a chance to see a good number of animals and many types of rare fishes. It is well organized and well-maintained. The authority keeps rare kinds of aquatic animals that you don’t get to see otherwise. Photography and smoking are prohibited within the aquarium premise. On the Level 1F of this aqua zoo, you will see the marine creatures spout water and burrow themselves in the sand while changing their colors. You will also find a dedicated area with special lighting effects that mimic the natural environment of sea creatures. On the 2F level, you will see the animals that live alongside water bodies, for example, alligators, penguins, turtle and hippopotamus. It is a truly enriching and informative experience.

Nifrel(nihureru) Reviews & Ratings
Such a unique and modern aquarium. I loved the themed rooms (color, shapes, camouflage, etc). It made going to the aquarium feel different. I also enjoyed how close you can get to the animals. Penguins, lemurs, and peacocks were less than an arms length away. They also have a light installation that was beautifully made. You can experience it from the ground and second floor, providing a different perspective. I would recommend visiting, especially if you have kids or like taking pictures for Instagram.
Some of the exhibits are pretty, but it’s difficult to overlook the terrible treatment of the animals on exhibit here. The most depressed tiger I’ve ever seen lives in a small concrete enclosure in a very loud hall on the second floor. There’s a stressed-out hippo there too. There were also a few larger marine animals that could barely turn around in their shallow tanks, just swimming in circles while visitors banged on the glass from both sides. It’s located in a good location so I’m sure space is at a premium, but they need to know that they just can’t provide reasonable care to larger animals in a small facility like this. This place is aesthetically decent, but ethically it’s quite bad.
This had all the right messages about caring for nature and seeing through others' eyes. It divided the animals (mostly fish and reptiles) into categories such as colour and shape. However, there was a white tiger with nothing like enough space and no access to the outside. A hippo with a baby with little water - the mother couldn't fully submerge. All the larger animals' enclosures seemed inadequate.
The reason I give this place a 5-star tag is the distance between human and animals are super close! Hardly find a place where you almost can touch(but cannot as it's against the rule of Eifrel as the same with others aquarium anyway#!@?). So it is an open area with a small and fun aquarium. Oh! Another good stuff is the white tiger!! U gotta see when they feed the white tiger. Very exciting to see! Check out some pics and make sure u visit the place :)
A new concept of aquarium and zoo. There is a White Tiger in here and I feel kind of pity for him being alone in the cage. An open zoo area where you can see closely animals without the cages. This place is reccomend for family with senior and children. Although this place is kind of far from Osaka center but it's worth to visit.
