The Complesso Dell'annunziata is one of the most popular and representative monument of the city of Sulmona. The monument has been destroyed multiple times and then reworked and rebuilt and henceforth shows the clear picture of overlapping and Gothic styles. Having an impressive height of 65 metres, the magnificent 16th century bell tower would leave you stunned. The interior of the monument has three aisles consisting of frescoes, paintings, stucco along with an amazing mechanical organ. The beautiful wooden pulpit also cannot be missed. Towards the right of the main Altar is the Chapel of the Annunciation of 1600 with the balustrade and altar inlaid with polychrome marbles. If you are ever in Italy, this is one place that you must visit.

  • Beautiful place. Little maintenance required

  • Great place to visit while in Sulmona!

  • I love it
