Barnes Bridge Park is a lovely place in Dallas, Texas. Located on the shores of Lake Hubbard, this park offers many recreational activities and is popular amongst locals. But, due to the constant irresponsible use and complaints from locals, the whole land is closed to the public in October 2017. It is a temporary decision and the government is trying to remodel the park in order to make it more family-friendly. Make sure the park is open before planning a visit.

  • This was a great park. Been going since 97'. It's a shame that it has been closed off due to bottom of society coming in a destroying it with their beer bottles and trash. I hope sunnyvale reopens it and charges admission to keep the peasants out. And.. have yall seen what's happened to the kayak park up the road? Place looks like a boarder town exploded.

  • Loved going to this place to just chill out look at the view! We went by tonight they put a gate up now you can't get in anymore says it's private property!! Does any one know what HAPPENED? So bummed!

  • Cool place to hang out right next to Lake Hubbard. There is no play area or grills or benches or anything though. People come out here and make little camp fires and chill, fish, fly drones, and other stuff. There is always trash on the beach though which sucks.

  • I used to love to come here. I guess there's just no law enforcement on a Friday night. These pics were taken on Saturday morning and I just couldn't believe the trash and drug paraphernalia on the ground. I learned to windsurf here in 1980 and would never walk barefoot here again.😪😪😪

  • People come and aren't mindful of their trash. The place is nasty. Fishing isn't recommended either. I've only been able to snag a few shad. Many better places throughout the lake to cast a line and enjoy the water.
