  • Brilliant climbing facility, there is a large bouldering area, a warm up area with weights and equipment, plenty of lead, belay and auto belay climbing so you can go alone or with a friend! There is also a high quality and astoundingly cheap cafe! There are great private sessions to try with friends and if you are under 18 you can get an test and climb on your own! I was very impressed by how many routes there were on the walls and it was clear to me that it accommodated for all skill levels. The staff were great and there was a free on site water fountain. You can buy equipment or rent it. Overall I was very impressed and highly recommend it.

  • 7 year old chose White Spiders as her end of term treat. 5 year old first time climbing and absolutely loved it. Good coffee and a place for the 3 year old to play meant we all had a great time. Kids cannot wait to return.

  • Thanks for a fantastic party for my 9 year old son. All had a great time and I hear that at least a couple of his friends want their next parties at White Spider too. So that’s a pretty good endorsement!

  • We had a great lesson with a nice chap called Toby. My husband was quite nervous but he put us both at ease after having not climbed for some time. Nice facilities and even auto belay which I’ve not experienced before - very good!

  • Great place to host a party for young teenagers and it introduces them to climbing. It is run like a military operation and safety is paramount. Plus bear in mind that if your son and daughter decides to do PE at GCSE then there is always the opportunity to take climbing as one of their options; parking is easy and fee and there is a small cafe on site.
