Planet Chill, Surfers Paradise Reviews
-
The rooms aren't overly spectacular but were clean and comfortable. A great place for kids!! Although, I felt my Mr 2 couldn't benefit from a great deal and the water in the pool/water park areas was absolutely freezing cold. Definitely a great place to revisit when he's older. Lovely staff and very handy idea to be able to sign your child/ren in to the kids club for a few hours of fun, if you're so inclined.

Rooms are satisfactory. I didn't mind as you don't spend much time in them. Prices for food and drinks are reasonable. Advise trying to find a deal online before booking. Our kids ate for free which saved us hundreds over our 5 night stay. Pools and waterslides were a lot of fun for the kids, albeit a bit packed when we were there

Perfect for young families wanting to keep the kids entertained on the days you aren't going to theme parks. The pools, play equipment and kids activities are perfect for kids up to about 14. Bar and Food prices are reasonable considering you are somewhat isolated. Supermarkets nearby if needed. All shuttles and buses to attractions land here and tickets can be booked onsite at the mini mart. The facility itself has been here for a very long time, but the place is industrial in its design so the kids won't break anything. Better than having screaming 😱 kids with nothing to do in a quiet Hotel, get a Beer or Wine and watch them run a muck, or drop them in day care for a few hours off.

We have been here lots of times in the past but this time at easter we found it to be extremely expensive. You get a public holiday surcharge plus the addition credit card surcharges. This makes it to be a very expensive holiday, nothing is for free including all in house activities. We will not be spending another 5 days at this resort. If you decide on a weekend getaway this would be the perfect spot for the kids. The only bonus is the free kids club with your package but yet again an extra price of 9.95 to feed the kids. I feel while staying here that the owners are after your $$$ even when they allow tourist without kids into a kids resort. Also what we found so rude is to ask to you to pay an extra $15 per day on car parking on top of the amount you spend on the room. Lots of cheaper option on the coast!

Fantastic resort for the family! Staff always super friendly and eager to help. Facilities are great. Some rooms are old and dated but most of our time was spent out of the room by the pool and attractions. Paying for parking when you are staying at the resort is quite ordinary in my opinion. That would be the only downside.
