Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Surfers Paradise Reviews
I've been here three times and every time I find something new and exciting! I love the weird twists on the idea of a traditional museum. There's a fair bit of reading if you want to get the most out of it (like any other museum) but it's much more interesting than your standard historical or archaeological finds. Mr Ripley was a bit of a weirdo. In a good way.
Had a great time. Good prices for the time u spend there. You can take ur time and even go back if u missed something. Even though you are downstairs u don't feel it, the rooms are beautifully laid out. The facts are very interesting and suitable for all ages.
A very fun and entertaining museum, which is a lot bigger than you think from the outside (took us maybe an hour and a half to walk through). If you like to learn weird facts about different cultures and people through history this is definitely the place. Plus it's entertaining for both parents and children, with numerous fun games throughout the exhibition.
It is a nice place for families. quite interesting. Kids under 8 or 9 will not enjoy it because there is a lot of reading. And a little bit scary. While going through there is no supervision. If you need anyhelp you cant find any staff members.
Probably fun and relevant in the 1990s. Given the high price, you will leave disappointed like us and wish we spent the money else where in surfers paradise. Go to the local library and read the Ripley book if you like this stuff.
