Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Surfers Paradise Reviews
A fun and interesting time! Curios and quirks from around the world, and many interactive displays. Plenty of activities for the younger members of your group, and all breakables or dangerous items are secured. Bypasses for the laser quest and nausea-inducing spinning tunnel were appreciated by the elderly members of our group, but the kids loved them! All in all something interesting for all and opportunities for some weird and wonderful photos abound. Be it a human achievement, practice, craft, or appearance, you'll find something interesting here.
A bit of fun for the family, and lots of very odd items. Some things are amazing, others are a bit creepy. Although there are no toilets, as mentioned by other visitors, there are public toilets directly across the street, and staff were very happy for me to take my son and then re- enter.
Really interesting and varied exibits. From shrunken heads and torture devices to works of art painted on pinheads and wedding dresses made of toilet paper. If you like oddities, learning about culture, or even are just in the mood for something else, give this really interactive museum/funhouse a try! We'll definitely be taking the family when they visit, their kids will love it!
Wonderful! Surfers needs more places like this, good fun for people of all ages. Really enjoyed how interactive some of the exhibits were, and the ones that weren't were still exciting in their own ways. I got a little annoyed at how obnoxious some of the kids were, but you shouldn't really go to something like this without forgiving all the overstimulated little kids bouncing off the walls. Props to all the parents who were doing their best to keep them under control.
This was a bit of fun, plenty to take in and some interactive parts. It isn't scary but kids will be thrilled and there is more than enough strange things to look at. It takes about 30 minutes to an hour to complete depending on if you are planning on stopping and reading all the information. One of the highlights is the stairway in!
