Sky point observation desk is the only beachside deck that can give you the spectacular 360 view of the whole golden coast. Skypoint Observation Deck, Surfers Paradise Reviews
I wish I could give this 2.5. I don't know why but I couldn't find a menu online for this place. Obviously nice views but they told us the kitchen closes at 7pm so we had to rush to order. We had the seafood platter for two. It came with no sauce,I asked for sum and it never came. The salad was nothing much. The chips were salty, the calamari was the best item of the lot,the fish was small thin pieces, prawns were nice and the mussels tasted better than expected. Price wise it was little more than expected for what you get We had to clean our own table and it was closer to the end of the night they started cleaning. If service was better I would give it a better mark.
The worse review I have ever given but justifiable due to our incredibly poor experience in attempting to have the breakfast buffet. Staff urgently need training in how to manage peak periods. No systems for host staff to accommodate the restaurant when it’s at capacity, kitchen could not keep up with servicing the buffet once we were eventually seated, dirty tables not being cleaned. The list goes on. Had it not been busy we would still be disappointed by the lack of buffet options for the price paid. If you want to experience the view, it was sensational. Just go else where for food options!
An iconic place of Gold Coast. Our entry was free because we had a season pass from Dreamworld. At the observation deck, you can see a whole stretch of Surfers Paradise. There are pay-to-use binoculars around if you want to try your luck in spotting a cockroach at a very far distance. There is a cafe too. I personally love the view from up there. Quite pleasant to the eyes. Staffs were very friendly and never fail to put up a smile. Would definitely recommend to those who loves sightseeing.
Q1 Skypoint day climb yesterday was amazing. Sensational views and the Climb Leader Brody was great. You get entry to the observation deck after the climb included in your ticket. Well worth it and I will be doing it again.
Do you love Gold Coast? You'll love it even more when your see it from here. 360 views and a nice cafe means you can easily spend over an hour here and enjoy it.
