Once you step into this wonderful Japanese restaurant you will be awestruck by the variety of sushi and sashimi which this place has in store. Not only this, the Japanese mains are equally mouth watering. Start with the drinks like the wolf blass, sake, echigo toji na sato or wines as per your taste. Let it be followed by chilli wagyu beef roll or the salmon. The consistency in the quality of food and the delivery of service is what has made this place great. Hit the restaurant for outstanding sushi and delicious miso soup!

Sushi Train Surfers Paradise Reviews & Ratings

  • Had a very disappointing experience here on Saturday night. After waiting for a booth we had to wait another 10 minutes to try and wave down the wait staff to place a drinks order. Seemed they were missing in action. Chose sushi as a quick option when dining with kids. All the dishes with avocado were served with avocado that had seen better days. Not good enough when avocado is in good supply at present. 5 year old refused to eat his avocado sushi as it was very dry. I ordered teriyaki chicken bowl and the quality of the chicken was poor. The location lacked atmosphere and overall disappointing experience. Will not be returning to this branch and would not recommend.

  • Had a Godzilla special plate, was tasty and creamy. Daughter had chicken avocado rice, yum yum yum. Plenty of protein and avocado! Sushi overall was fresh and well priced compared to many sushi places in Gold Coast. Let’s just say it was definitely worth the walk from Q1.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed the sushi that this establishment had to offer. Not only did the novelty train add to the delightful experience, (though being somewhat frivolous), I had a wonderful time indulging in the delightfully small sushi carried to me by the locomotive. I had what i must say a most delightful experience at this restaurant, and I simply implore you to give it a try.

  • Affordable sushi train with a massive selection of sushi and desserts. Prices range from $3-$5. The servings are a good size too. Pleasure dining there, will definitely eat here again!

  • I have been very loyal to sushi train for the past six years in another state. I am Happy to say that this is now my local. The first time I went there, I wasn’t impressed by the server. However my need for sushi won out. And I went again and was pleasantly surprised by friendly and helpful service. They don’t mind at all, substitutions. And as I get minus “this” and plus three “that’s”. And it came out just the same as I’ve always received back in Sydney. I am happy as a dog barking, a bird flying or a pig playing in mud.
