Was quite expensive to get in, part of the price is a guided tour through the torture chamber etc area and the gentleman giving the tour (nice bloke) had a very strong English accent and half of the people with us could not clearly understand what he was saying, the wax figures were all quite old and tired with only a handful having a really good likeness, I think more effort could have been put in to make the "settings" the characters were displayed in more fitting. They could have potentially had more written information on display, points of interest / notable accomplishments etc, made it a more educational experience. The staff were nice and friendly, however I would advise against spending your money here unless there are some substantial improvements * Edited to remove my assumption he was Welsh and add some photos of our visit
We had such a wonderful visit at the Wax Museum. The staff were passionate in their knowledge of the wax characters. Mike gave us an enlightening tour through the Dungeon of Horrors and we had a really wonderful chat, he even helped take a photo of us where the giant comical character face was on the front of the building was. - Dolly & George.
Very friendly and informative staff. Received great cupons with excellent discounts upon entry. However, place is in dire need of updating its facilities. It seems like it was built in the 80’s and it has never been updated since. Very different from other wax museums I have visited around the world.
Very interesting. However not many Wax Figures and very hard to identify them and placed behind glass. It didnt really amaze me that much. Over 30$ pp and the first tour is like less than 10minutes. Amazing tour guy for the Chamber of Horrors. And we also recieved free coupons for Gelato.
Great place 😁 excellent history lesson on all the wax statues.
