The Wax Museum, Surfers Paradise Reviews
Very friendly and informative staff. Received great cupons with excellent discounts upon entry. However, place is in dire need of updating its facilities. It seems like it was built in the 80’s and it has never been updated since. Very different from other wax museums I have visited around the world.
Not value for money. Displays are ordinary with a lot of factual faults. 'Tour' is best part. Not impressed
This is an awesome place! Well worth the money. Make sure to read all the signs and go on the tour. The tour was the best bit, but we weren't allowed to photograph that. The people were also really nice! They gave us ice cream coupons which we used. I would definately go again.
Friendly and funny staff. Our kids (8,9,10 years) loved the chamber of horrors and the guided tour. Was really interesting to see the life size versions of celebrities....although we did google Sir Robert Menzies and think his head is depicted bigger than it actually was... can heads really be that big?? If so, how did he not fall over all the time??
The figures were alright but if you are claustrophobic the horror chamber tour isn't for you. The tour was too long and focused on too much explicit events, this is not the best place for children .
