Timezone Surfers Paradise, Surfers Paradise Reviews
Timezone is a giant arcade based at Surfers Paradise on the Gold coast. There are many great package deals as well as pay per go arcade games. Coming here you will easily spend $40 but if you are here for several hours then it's all worth it. They have mini golf, dodgems, laser tag, bowling and many many more games. I highly recommend.
Kids and us had an absolute ball here - certainly a place where the entire family can have good fun together for a few hours. Love how there is something for all ages from the little kids to the older kids - perfect for families with kids from a range of ages. I think the package deals are great - so you are guaranteed a certain amount of time to play and of course cashing in the tickets at the end for little trinkets is a hit with the kids.
Good fun and lots of games to pick. Whether is dating or family fun time is great to hang out. It is also nice to bring some souvenir away with ticket games too. Lastly, it has a good variety of pinball machines there, which is awesome!!! Just a minor comments, a small number of shooting game machine needed to be fixed, like the foot pedal is not working well.
We gave our kids a 2 hour swipe card to go nuts on as many games as they could. The enjoyed themselves immensely. I would say that it gave us some peace and quiet, but lets face it, the SE of QLD is not a quiet place.
Big space with lots to do. Very enjoyable but some of the machines are out of order with no signs to prevent you wasting money on your card. The hammer machine is rigged. It says if you beat 865 then you will win 10 games but it resets and won't let you beat 865. One of the shooting games didn't release any basketballs until the end of the game. Still a good place to spend time it just needs more staff on top of things.
