A comprehensive museum of Fijian history. Don't be deceived when you walk in, the main floor has some recreations and artifacts, but go through the gift shop and you will find a whole other world. From native history (including home, daily life and war implements) to colonial days and self rule as of 1970 as well as some flora and fauna. A worthwhile tour but be prepared to spend several hours to see everything.
I wish they'd pump a bit more money into this place. I usually take my overseas guests/visitors here. It's unfortunate given Fiji's rich history.
Very interesting place. Thoroughly enjoyed it & the gardens were lovely despite the rain on the day
Lovely spot to enjoy the Suva of old, have an awesomely hot coffee, family friendly with lots of room for kids to run around, lots of parking and a great tropical breeze!
Not a bad museum, but you did feel there was wasted potential with the exhibits. The gift shop was very good however
