Fiji Museum, Suva Reviews - Write a Review
The museum has but only a fraction of the richness of the Fijian History. It is however home to certain priceless artifacts of Fiji's unique culture. While there may be no tour guides available during the journey, the museum however has descriptions placed against the pieces to give the visitor a brief idea. They also have a gift shop which has books and souvenirs for customers to buy.
Decent amount of Fijian history. Little older building, but that's not the attraction. Cool stuff inside, and nice park outside.
From the gardens to the gift shop, this place is a great 1-2 hour activity if you've got some time in Suva. Really detailed information on everything, if you're a fan of pre-colonial Fiji history then this place is a must see, but I'd recommend it to everyone regardless.
Good place to get information on fiji island history and culture
Museum has some lovely exhibits, a great garden, and possibly the best coffee in Suva, but is badly in need of a refurbishment inside. Some exhibits at the back look shuffled together. A bit of creative curation could go a long way.
