Lofoten Krigsminnenmuseum Reviews & Ratings

  • A quite unexpected & outstanding museum packed full of amazing artifacts from the war in Norway. This is most certainly one of the best small museums I have ever been to. Well labelled & presented in different languages. Quite excellent.

  • Amazing collection of artefacts... Really very impressive. Best to go knowing the time line and story...this is not really explained

  • An extraordinary collection and privately owned too. Well worth a visit. Eva Brauns purse and shells from the Tirpitz are superb but outclassed by the recovery of a sailors shirt from a wreck and then finding him alive and living the dream in Canada.

  • Great museum to vist. All the different types of uniforms that were worn by the great men and women of 1940 to 1945. 10 krona to enter. Quite a small musum but a lot of material and information available there. Wort the vist to Lear about history

  • Small and traditional but very well organised museum
