Ivy Creek Park Reviews & Ratings

  • The pond they call Clemons Lake is stocked but very small. It's a pretty and small place but you are not allowed to clear a spot on the bank to be able to fish other than their deck and canoe rentals. They have a nice canoe teaching program but the pond is small and it's hard to fish with them in front of you. They have a spot for kids but like one toy if you will for them to play on. They need more. Nice place but a mini place. The people there are are excellent and informative.

  • I took my 4 year old daughter here for an outing and really enjoyed it. A friendly staff member set us up with life jackets and a canoe rental, just $8 for an hour. The lake is small enough to easily paddle around, but still fun enough to spend about an hour.

  • Great place to walk. The building is never open. Plenty of spots to eat lunch and the deck is nice.

  • A definite win for a place where kids can catch bluegills all day long with little effort. For the more skilled anglers their is trout, bass, and catfish too (but those take a little more skill than our fishermen had today🙃)

  • Multiple well maintained trails to walk and it's usually not too busy in the morning/early afternoon.
