Woods, meadows, trails and lots of play area make for a perfect summer outing. The park has two lovely lakes where you can spot herons, fish and swans. The beautiful trees and plants planted along the trails are a beautiful sight during spring. Walking through the woods will give you lots of relaxation and rejuvenation. There is lots of nature around to be admired and the best is that you try to absorb it all while you are here. It’s an excellent place away from the unnecessary hustle and bustle.

Lawns Park Reviews & Ratings

  • Myself and about 20 others, did litter picking. The park is huge, lovely green grass, trees and seating, there is a path all the way round. Dogs walking. Though there was a lot of rubbish which people just throw down on the ground, instead of in the plenty of bins that surround the lawns. But it's a shame that people can't be bothered....

  • A nice large, naturally kept park. The views are fantastic across Swindon but the lake water was a little scummy and stagnant. Could do with some maps or signage to help people find things.

  • Lovely place. Relaxing. Not many benches for those who struggle with mobility

  • Amazing park. A good picnic spot near old town in Swindon. The best part is the view of town from the park. Wind mills on far hills give you a beautiful view. Bird viewers will also enjoy the park. A favourite place for walkers and cyclists in swindon. There are two small lakes. You can go for fishing there. There are fields for playing as well. A good place for spending a day with family and kids. A place that gives you feel of being in lap of mother nature.

  • Very nice place for a walk on a sunny day. need a nice place to take the kids and the dogs or just feed the squirrels.
