Aylesworth Park Reviews & Ratings
Love the park and the beach, but there are geese that live in the water and no deterrents for them so they poop all over the beach and then problem is compounded because people will feed them stuff and the geese keep coming back on the beach for food and then pooping more. Really gross. Love visiting with my kids but haven't been in awhile because of this issue. Also gets contaminated and then closed for periods of time and you never know when, so you could waste your time going there, too.
I went to Aylesworth Park a little early in the season and it was still a little chilly so swimming was out of the question in the lake. There was also a lot of goose poop in the beach area. The playground was really nice but the soccer field wasn’t cut and it seems like quads like to sneak thru the park.
Such a wonderful park to bring the family ! Have a nice fishing trip!!! They have a man made "beach" area around the lake. About 2 large pavilions , some sports fields and a large playground. Along with lots of hiking trails !!
This is one playground/park that I highly recommend. Well maintained, great playground equipment, picnic tables for snacks/lunch. The kids ALWAYS have fun!
Hidden gem. Well kept in the main areas. Surprised by it's location as it feels like your lost before you get there. The trails were marked with Bridges but the bridges do not exist so had to ford the stream otherwise would have given 5 stars.
