Blue Mountains - Review
While you are in Sydney, make a day trip to the Blue Mountains, which are a prime geographical feature of the Sydney Basin are a very popular spot for international tourism. Apart from the magnificence of the Mountains, the limestone Caves of Jenolan, and the pass of the Giant Stairway through the Jamison Valley are fascinating sights as well.
Another exceptional aspect the Blue Mountains tourism is the world’s steepest of railroads in Katoomba, commonly known as the Katoomba Scenic Railway. The rail track also passes through numerous cliffs of sandstone as well as a long and extremely steep rock tunnel. There is also the Scenic Cableway which is also famed for being the steepest running cable car facility in the world.
You can also check out the Zig Zag Steam Railway of Lithgow, Coach Way for Blue Mountains travel, as well as the hiking of Glenbrook upon Lennox Bridge and the Explorers Tree in Katoomba. The most adventurous things to do in Sydney are at the Blue Mountains as it is also a favourite spot for Rock Climbing and Mountain Biking, as well as extensive Canyoning and abseiling.

Blue Mountains, Sydney Reviews
What a beautiful place is this. About 2 hours train journey from Sydney and you reach one of the most beautiful places in the world. The way the local government has been managing the transportation system is exceptional. They have covered almost all the tourist places and the frequency of the bus is also very good. Although if you wish to visit too interior areas, you might meed your own transport but if you’re on a day trip, using public transport would be more than enough. Thanks for a great day guys. Cheers
Walk down the bottom of the stairs and there is a excellent spot for taking photos. NEVER GO OVER THE BARRIERS TO TAKE A PHOTO. Its slippery and dangerous and people have been hurt doing it. Waterfalls are better viewed after rain, sometimes the waterfalls will not be running, ie in hot weather a month ago-What a beautiful place is this. The mountain view is really nice. There are things to do and see for a day here. Lot of parking lot in that area. Better to book online before you go there.
Very beautiful place and awesome landscape. There is a nice designed trail for those who like walking. Beautiful birds are everywhere and you can enjoy them singing!
Another vast and beautiful landscape Sydney has to offer! just so serene with mother nature. Another awesome tour guide Les, very informative on the history of the areas we saw, Les only likes hot chocolate or tea but he loves his tim tams. Les will get out of the bus and participate physically and showing you and your group around. Some of the landscapes he showed us were breathtaking, another great tour, thank you very much Les.
