Mercure Sydney, Sydney Reviews

  • The hotel is very close to central station which eases all transportations and also in walking distance to beautiful Darling Harbour. Plenty of restaurants, convenient stores and kebab stalls nearby. The staff at front desk were friendly. The breakfast hall was not large enough when all guests want to have breakfast at the same time and you need to wait for available table which might take long. GYM centre was the smallest one I have ever used. Mercure must have had a better one.

  • Great location very close to public transport and walking distance to Chinatown. Buffet breakfast range was not huge but adequate and good quality. Pool was warm although i would have preferred it a touch warmer. The pool was relatively small but the view was fantastic especially at night. Service was good. Rooms and hallways were clean. Pillow was a touch too firm

  • This is a very well located hotel for business trips. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a desk and lounge chair. Sockets and Usb charging points are well located. Located next to Railway square it has easy access to central station and a number of useful bus routes. Close to shops and numerous restaurants: diverse cuisine on hotel doorstep. There is also a concierge desk with enormously helpful staff.

  • One thing about this hotel is Location! Location! & Location! One of the best location to stay in Sydney. Close to central station. Darling Harbour few blocks away, so is China town. Room is okay, clean but couldn’t have been better. Friendly staffs. Fast check-in but get busy sometimes with airline crews. Breakfast is okay. A little more variety was expected. Some area of improvements: 1. Lift 2. Washroom (a shower curtain is must) 3. More variety in breakfast

  • Visited for a brief time, the interior and the atmosphere was really good at this place. Rooms are bit expensive but worth it. If you are looking for a comfortable place in Sydney. This should be in your list to consider.
