  • Our stay was superb and what a GREAT team the staff are! Close to all amenities and away from the GHASTLY MESS that the government has made of the city to the north of the hotel. It was so pleasurable to wander a new aspect of the city. Room was very good and the restaurant was very good. We were welcomed as if we were family! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel.

  • I was attending a conference at the Mercure Sydney and staying the night. From arrival where one of the Concierge team collected my luggage from the taxi, showed me to reception/check-in, Jason handling my booking and check-in process was amazing. I left my bag with the Concierge, when my conference ended at 5:00 pm, I was simply able to head to my room where my luggage was waiting for me. Such fabulous service. The room was well appointed, loved the double blinds, a privacy one and a block out one, so sensible. Breakfast in the morning was another wonderful experience, staff showed me to a table explained about the various goodies on offer. The staff on duty during breakfast were very friendly and made one feel special and at home. Check-out was just a brilliant as check-in, handed back my keys, my luggage was taken out to a waiting taxi. When I am next in Sydney I will most definitely be staying at the Mercure Sydney. A surprising and wonderful experience.

  • This was my first visit to your hotel and I would definitely return. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and well presented. The food in the Four Elements Restaurant was beautiful. The swimming pool was clean and very peaceful. The eve bar downstairs had lovely food and lovely staff. The location of the hotel was perfect for catching a train to the Opera House.

  • Overall positive. Helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. Room was clean and comfortable except for the air quality which is poor. Smell of stale cigarettes and not fresh at all. I would recommend the hotel to get an indoor plant in each room to help make the air fresher.

  • Great staff, very friendly and helpful. I was given a room upgrade and a late check out after mentioning it was my first trip away from my kids which as a busy (exhausted) mum of two, was exactly what I needed. Comfy bed in a spacious room. Well appointed and in a great location. Slight mix up with my in-room breakfast with an item missing but this was rectified within a couple of minutes of me making the call so can't fault the service on this either. Would definitely stay here again!
