Opened in March of 2005, this museum displays the currency notes and related archived currency material of Australia to the public. Further, it tells the story of how Australia’s currency notes have reflected the country’s economic and political development over the years. You will get to see how the Australian currency has changed through a number of stages from colonial settlement through to the current era of polymer banknotes. There are interactive tours that will give you the information.
