The Queen Victoria Building is an example of Australian architecture and has always been a visiting destination internationally. It is primarily a shopping area but it’s the poshest of all shopping areas you will ever see. It houses many interesting things to see as well. Situated in the Sydney central province, the Building occupies a large area bounded by the George Street and Druitt Streets. Built in the Victorian Style, the Building houses the famous Royal Clock, which features a replica of Queen Victoria attired in the coronation regalia.
Another interesting thing to see is the Great Australian Clock. Among the other historical articles, there are the Imperial Chinese Bridal Carriage built of jade, and the unread sealed letter which was written by Queen Elizabeth II. Interestingly, this letter is to be opened and read only in 2085.
