Sydney Fish Market, Sydney Reviews - Write a Review
It is great place for seafood lovers. I found paid parking. Little troubles of finding right parking spot but it was worth it. Location is great and staff is very friendly and helpful. I went with clients I work with. They’ve enjoyed lunch. Food presentation came out awesome and treated like five stars restaurants food. I suggest that definitely to try seafood baskets.
Very nice market with lots of variety. You can get just about anything you’re craving and a few additional extra specials as well. I prefer to buy raw and cook at home but there are plenty of cooked food options you can enjoy there, although good luck finding a seat and table. Particularly enjoy the fresh fruit and veg vendor if not a little expensive
MUST SEE. Highly, highly recommend if you're a tourist visiting Sydney and love seafood. Even if you don't really love seafood it's still a must see. So many selections, they even have a deli, a cheese shop counter, tables and chairs to enjoy food on. They have multiple selections of hot and cold food for a quick bite to eat. Wonderful array of sushi, lobster mornay, fried shrimp, fish, even fries. No fishy smell what so ever, which is the most amazing part, especially with all the fish around. They open the oysters right in front of you, and serve them right then and there. Very reasonable prices also. Very impressed. Would visit again if I ever go back to Sydney.
It is the best place to buy fresh seafood in Sydney! It can get very busy at lunch time. I'd suggest walking around the several fishmongers and do a quick comparison of prices and freshness first before purchasing anything
Sydney Fish Markets is a fabulous place to visit. Not only can you buy your fabulous fresh seafood to take home but also enjoy the numerous places to dine the tasty selections. Yes choose your own wine from the bottle shop, fruit & vegetables or spend your time in the deli. This is a place to enjoy and never forget. A huge tourist attraction in Sydney. Take a tram from Central Station and enjoy the atmosphere.
