The atmosphere over on the steps of the opera house is vibrant while the bridge feels much calmer...even with the traffic whizzing behind you. The heights above the water can be a bit off-putting if you're not into that sort of thing. The walk is a bit "healthy" from the Quay, but totally worth it for the view alone. It is MEMORABLE to say the least!
Beautiful place. Walking though the bridge look up and down was a great view. Foo court inside the mall. They have a lots of restaurant around. With delicious food.
Awesome landmark for the city. Check it out for free by walking on it, enjoy the view of the city by going up into the Pylon lookout, or experience it by doing the bridge climb. Highly recommended!
I have traversed this bridge most every way you can. I've been underneath it, ran and walked across it, done the bridge walk, and taken cars and trains across. The bridge is well kept and used. During Vivid and New Year's the bridge is used to celebrate. It is very much a key part of the city and it shows.
Such a beautiful magnificent landmark - especially a sunset time. Panoramic view on Sydney Harbour. Very easy for visitor or tourist to reach here.
