The first Oriental-style movie theatre, Landmark Theatre has been standing tall since 1928 and is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. During the Great Depression and World War II, this theatre has been a mean of relief where patrons could escape the harsh realities, for just a few hours of entertainment in the opulent ambience. Now, the theatre hosts a vast number of events amidst the plush decor that is a harmonious blend of the Orient and Europe. Do catch a performance, while you are here.

  • The box office was very gracious in helping me select tickets. Of course the theater decor is wonderful! It's a joy each time I see it. The orchestra was a delight! The movie was not my cup of tea, but the idea was smart.

  • Top quality shows. Paid a little more than expected for two balcony tickets to Fiddler, but the experience was generally enjoyable. My only issue is that there weren’t enough room for my legs. I am 6 feet tall, not especially tall, and my knees were colliding with the seat in front of me and preventing my feet from touching the floor. I had a good experience other than that, but would not sit in the balcony again without an aisle seat.

  • Beautiful vintage theater that has a lot of character. We saw the Cirque Wonderland show. It was nice but nothing special... Most disappointed by the poor job done by the audio and lighting techs throughout the performance. Audio kept cutting out for main singer and lighting guys couldn't follow the main actors and performers . Pretty sad for such a big show. I'd love to see a different show here that would do the theater justice.

  • This was a beautiful place to see a show. I went to see Dirty Dancing with my family and all five of us had a great time. I gave this four stars instead of five because the parking can be a real pain, but it was well worth it. I also saw Wicked here the year before and it was also wonderful.
