Running over 20 years now, this brewery is the longest, continuously running, full production brewery in Syracuse. Owned by the locals of the city, the brewery has produced some original beers like Syracuse Pale Ale, Impaled Ale, Wailing Wench, Swallow Wit, and Dinosaur BBQ's House Beer - Ape Hanger Ale, which are quite a hit with the locals. The brewery deploys brewing techniques that are traditionally British in nature, and the ingredients are some of the finest imported all the way from England. Visit this brewery and sip on some of chilled beer, just like the locals.

  • Very nice and unique inside. Beer was average but the customer service is truely where I felt let down. Maybe I just caught them on an off day. My 3 could definitely go higher with a better return visit. Worth a look

  • Was in town visiting and did a brewery tour. This was hands down the best. The service and beer was amazing and the bartenders were so helpful especially Matt and basically planned the rest of our stay here. Highly recommend, especially if you're in for out of town

  • What else can be said... Super fresh and tasty beer, welcoming atmosphere, and if you want food? Well, there is usually a quality food truck business outside. Everything about this feels local, and awesome at the same time. Again though, the beer - masterful.

  • I like the light beers and I dunk a lemon into the glass for zest. They always have something brewed here in the style I like. Clever place. Need to get here more often.

  • Middle Ages Brewing in Syracuse is one of the best craft brewpubs we've been to. They have many great offerings and have been in business for over 20 years. Mark, the owner, came by and talked to us a bit. They have trivia on Tuesdays, and that's the night we went; so they were busy. They can and bottle their own beers. MAB has enough of a selection to please any craft beer palate. Get a flight or 2. Highly recommend.
