Museo Orlina, Tagaytay Reviews

  • Simple museum, priced right. Inside this, you'll be awed by artist Orlina's creative talent. Two floors are mostly done by the artist himself: artworks in glass, steel, etc. While one floor displays budding artists. The museum also has a garden with more art and a rooftop for relaxing view. Simply wow!

  • This is something new to do when in Tagaytay. A place to go to for people who appreciate/love art. One can get to have a great view of the Taal Volcano which is a treat, too! Museo Orlina have a roof deck to appreiate art and nature. They also have a souvenir shop where you can check for stuff that will remind you of this place before heading home.

  • Great private art collection from the master artist. A good rotation of other artists’ works, as well. Definitely a worthwhile place to visit when in Tagaytay. The rooftop has wonderful views of Taal lake and volcano. The annual Tagaytay Art Beat party held at the museum is a properly fun DIY music fest full of hip young things. Beware the very steep roads around the property. And be prepared to find street parking on otherwise residential streets.

  • Each floor of the museum is carefully planned and highlights the great works of a master sculptor. Worth visiting again. I strongly recommend not to take any photos of the works, but instead, to take a good look at all the art displayed from different angles, and soak in, and appreciate the mastery.

  • Art is almost always appreciated but deemed 'boring', but once understood creates a feeling so nostalgic and yet new. More so that it does not require itself to be understood, but only for the one who made it. Museo Orlina will bring you to that place in feeling. Go see for yourself! :) Ps. Pics are my favourites
