About People's Park In The Sky, Tagaytay
Even though it is need of some urgent maintenance, this park is well worth a visit to admire Taal Lake and Voclano from afar. The beauty of this park lies almost entirely in the views it offers. You will find the usual refreshment stalls and souvenir shops surrounding the park but these are easy to ignore once to reach the vantage point. The park has been built using an old and incomplete mansion. The mansion is still there and carries a special look of its own. Built on top of the Mount Gonzales, the park is an ideal place to do photography of the beautiful surrounding. Little children find this place very enjoyable as they get to play and enjoy their time at the heart of nature. You can surely have a good time visiting this park. People's Park In The Sky, Tagaytay Reviews
The view is great! It's cold when we got up there which I would compare to an air con. There was also a statue of Jesus Christ near the park. The park, however, does look like it needs to be maintained which I completely agree. If you're gonna go here, there's an entrance fee.
Walking up the hill is good exercise (as is walking down again). It is quite sunny though, so having an umbrella will help. The place has some history. Shame that it wasn't preserved. You can actually go inside of the building now which you couldn't before. It really should be cleaned up as there are some spots that smell bad. I have a feeling that the ones who work there also live there as some parts are blocked off and you can see signs of people squatting. The view though is the reason for going there. You're quite high up and can see a lot without obstruction.
Went there with my family for a holiday last month when I went to the philippines. It was a good place for sightseeing and pictures, we took a lot of pictures there in fact. The view is great, the building is somewhat aged but that's what makes it pretty. Would recommend trying to cycle up there!
Stunning view and cool weather even in summer; however, the place is not well-maintained. It could’ve been a lot better. It looks like an abandoned place. Even the viewing deck is in an old building with empty spaces.
Absolutely one of my top favorite locations that I visited. Breathtaking views and awesome historic building. It's super cold there though, and this is coming from a Canadian so be prepared and it's really windy and it's high up on a big hill. Nice view of Taal volcano! If you have time I highly recommend it!
